Description
Nickel Alloy K500 is a precipitation-hardened nickel-copper alloy that is known for its high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It is also known as Monel K500 or UNS N05500.
This alloy contains approximately 63% nickel, 30% copper, and small amounts of aluminum, titanium, and other elements. Nickel Alloy K500 has excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength, good ductility, and toughness, making it suitable for use in a range of applications.
Nickel Alloy K500 has excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and other corrosive environments, including acids, alkalis, and salt solutions. It also has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking and is particularly well-suited for use in marine applications.
