Description
C360 brass is a common type of brass alloy known for its excellent machinability and corrosion resistance. It is also sometimes referred to as free-cutting brass or machining brass. C360 brass is primarily composed of copper (about 61.5% to 63.5%) and zinc (around 35.5% to 36.5%) with small amounts of lead (up to 3%) and other elements.
The addition of small amounts of lead enhances its machinability, making it easier to cut, drill, and shape using various machining processes.
Bars are mill finished (dull yellow), but can be polished by standard methods to obtain your required finish.
