Description
6101 aluminum flat bars have excellent electrical and thermal conductivity and moderate strength for bus bars and other electrical applications. They are highly corrosion-resistant and formable, weldable, and machinable.
6101 aluminum is commonly used as a lightweight and low cost alternative to copper in electrical applications, such as bus bars in switchboards and battery banks. These bars have rounded edges.
