15-5 stainless steel is a precipitation-hardening, martensitic stainless steel alloy that contains chromium, nickel, and copper. It is also known as UNS S15500 or XM-12. This steel alloy exhibits high strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance. Diameter is measured across flats.
