Product Description

316 Stainless Steel offers improved corrosion and pitting resistance as well as improved strength at higher temperatures then the 304 alloy. It can be formed and readily welded by all methods and is a non-rusting, non-magnetic, Chrome-Nickel Alloy.

Note: Pipe sizes can be confusing as the listed size has little or no resemblance to the actual size of the pipe and in most cases listed pipe size is closer to the "inside diameter" of the pipe. While tubes are identified by the actual Outside Diameter (OD) and Wall Thickness (W), pipe sizes are nominal and wall thickness is identified by what is known as a Schedule.
