Alloy 404 (aka Monel 404) is similar to Alloy 400 but with higher copper (approx 45%) and a Nickel (Cobalt included) content of 55%. It has tighter tolerances on Fe, Si, and Mn than Alloy 400. Monel® 404 (Alloy 404) has high strength and toughness over a wide temperature range with excellent resistance to many corrosive environments.
